Nigerian comedian and actor Baba Ijesha, whose real name is Olanrewaju Omiyinka, has joyfully announced the arrival of his newborn son with his wife, popular stylist and fashion influencer Luminee.
In an emotional social media post, the proud father expressed profound gratitude to God for the precious gift. He wrote:
“In quiet ways, in unseen ways, God has been writing a story only He could tell. We thank the Almighty for blessing us with a healthy baby boy. God gave me more than I prayed for, my ever beautiful wife, Strong JAGABAN, Abike Ade mi owon, ceolumineeofficial who became a mother of my Son KING KAGAR OMIYINKA.”

Recall that Baba Ijesha was previously at the centre of a high-profile controversy involving allegations of sexual assault on a minor, comedienne Princess’s daughter which led to his conviction and imprisonment. He served his sentence and was released in late 2025, later maintaining his innocence and releasing music addressing the saga.
The baby’s announcement has been met with an outpouring of love, prayers, and congratulatory messages from fans, colleagues, and fellow celebrities across social media.
