Abia State politician, Ngozi Sandra Anya, has sparked intense debate across social media after openly criticising contemporary teachings given to young women regarding marital infidelity.
The political figure took a firm stance against retaliatory infidelity, urging mothers to instil traditional values in their children instead.
Anya expressed deep concern over what she perceives as a toxic trend among some women who advise the younger generation to pay back cheating spouses in their own coin.
She firmly rejected this counsel, labelling retaliatory cheating as entirely unacceptable and culturally inappropriate.

“My own daughters will grow up to understand that men are polygamous in nature, that’s how God wired them.
“If u find out that your husband is cheating and you can’t emotionally withstand it, come back to my house Nwam! i will proudly receive you back,” she stated.
However, the politician further emphasised that regardless of a husband’s shortcomings, certain cultural boundaries must never be crossed by a married woman.
She reminded her followers of the strict traditional laws governing marital fidelity in her region, noting that such actions carry heavy cultural consequences.
“They will grow up to understand that sleeping with another man while still in their husbands houses is an abomination in Igbo land,” Anya added.
