My ex-husband was not a movie marketer- Iyabo Ojo
Nigerian actress, Iyabo Ojo, has denied claims that her ex-husband, Ademidun Ojo, was a movie marketer.
Information had on Wikipedia stated that the actress’ ex-husband was a movie marketer.
The information read, “lyabo Ojo got married to her estranged husband and Lagos-based movie marketer in 1999 at the age of 21.
“She has constantly stated she might drop the name Ojo as her surname. Although the marriage didn’t last, it was blessed with two children.
“Presently, she has confirmed being in a relationship but vowed not to post anything about her new lover on social media until they get married.”
Reacting through an Instagram post on Tuesday, the actress stated that her ex-husband was a clearing and forwarding agent not a movie marketer.
She wrote “Please, who handles this Wikipedia? Bloggers, my ex-husband, the father of my children, Mr Ademidun Ojo, was never a movie marketer.
“He was a CLEARING and FORWARDING AGENT at Tincan Island.”
In January, Iyabo Ojo disclosed her journey as a single mother started.
Sharing an old picture of herself and her children on Instagram, Iyabo Ojo wrote “This year, I began my journey as a single mum with no direction. I was afraid, sometimes depressed, confused, and I always had a lot of anxiety.
“I felt like a failure; a loser. I felt I wasn’t good enough, I felt little, I didn’t really know how to fit in or even start. How was I even going to pull through? I never thought of making it in life. I just wanted my kids to be fine, that was my ultimate goal.”
She added “All I knew to do was to love my kids immensely and give them all of me and that inspired me to keep moving.
“Today I look back and all I want to say is thank you Lord. It’s never too late to start all over again. It will be tough but you will be fine. There is always light at the end of the tunnel
