My Friends Put In Money To Push My Career- Mr Eazi

Award-winning Nigerian artiste, Mr. Eazi, recently featured on the latest episode of “Moments With” where he explained the inspiration behind his emPawa initiative among other things.

Eazi talked about his style of music, which he has tagged “banku music”, being a serial entrepreneur, and how he has taken up the task of pushing young African artistes through his emPawa initiative.

On “Moments With: Mr Eazi,” the star spoke in-depth about his early days, how his friends all put money together to help him get started, how his famous ‘hat’ look came about, the blend of Ghanaian & Nigerian sounds that make up Banku music and more recent things like collaboration with J Balvin and Bad Bunny.

My friends put money together to give me the push I needed for my music career, that’s why I am giving back in my own way to help any artiste I think is talented. Sometimes I randomly pick people to boost. Music is the basis for everything,” Mr. Eazi shared.
