Nigerian music executive and talent manager Soso Soberekon has expressed heartfelt appreciation to everyone who celebrated his recent wedding, describing the love he and his wife received as overwhelming.
In a post shared on Instagram, Soberekon thanked family, friends, colleagues and well-wishers for making their special day unforgettable. He wrote that his heart was “overflowing with gratitude” and said the support shown throughout the celebration exceeded their expectations.
“Thank you to everyone who celebrated, prayed, supported and shared in the joy of our wedding. The love my wife and I received was beyond anything we ever imagined,” he wrote, adding, “One thing is certain: LOVE WON.”

The music executive also urged people to ignore negativity, insisting that the wedding was peaceful, beautiful and filled with genuine happiness. Soberekon’s statement comes after comedian Deeone publicly criticised Afrobeats superstar Davido for allegedly failing to attend the wedding or publicly congratulate the newly married couple. Deeone questioned the silence of the singer, noting that Soberekon had been a longtime associate and supporter.
Although Soberekon did not mention Davido or address Deeone’s remarks directly, many social media users have interpreted his message as a subtle response, choosing to focus on gratitude rather than the controversy surrounding those who were absent.
