Producer of sobering short film “I Am Not Corrupt”, Nadine Ibrahim is back with the trailer for her documentary, “Marked”. The intense documentary explored a diverse number of Nigerian cultures with focus on the possible reasons behind scarification.
Nadine, through Naila Media, takes her team through 20 states in Nigeria, documenting stories behind markings and how they relate with indigenous cultural identity.
“Marked” highlights key areas such as “national cohesion, cultural tensions, self worth, ethnicity, health rights and many other current discourse relating to what is often referred to as tribal markings”.
