Naira Marley in New Controversy after Regaining Freedom from Police
CONTROVERSIAL musician, Naira Marley has been enmeshed in a new controversy on social media just after he regained his freedom from the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
Recall that the singer surrendered himself to the police for arrest, after attending embattled Funke Akindele and husband, JJC Skillz‘s birthday house party, alongside other celebrities.
The Soapy crooner was however freed after perfecting his bail conditions.
In a series of posts shared via his Twitter page on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, Naira Marley slammed the people who called the police and got him arrested.
Tagging them ‘snitches’, he lamented how people who want him to fight the government on their behalf, will call for his arrest.
“Snitches on twitter will get you arrested and still want you to fight the government. From now on its just Marlians Only. Let’s all listen to the government and give them our full support,” he tweeted.
In a bid to mock his followers and other social media users, the singer requested the account numbers of those who bashed him for attending the party, only to poke fun of them afterward.
Surprisingly to many, Naira Marley later disclosed that he only requested the people’s account to catch some fun, and nothing more.
