Naira Marley, Sam Larry seen together after release from custody
Controversial Nigerian singer Naira Marley and his associate Sam Larry have been seen in public for the first time since they paid a ₦20 million bail after being remanded by the court.
In a viral video posted on TikTok by Larry, he, Marley, and singer Zinoleesky were seen walking on the streets of a residential area, smiling for the camera, escorted by police security detail.
This marks Naira Marley’s first public appearance since paying the bail set by the magistrate court in early November 2023.
Naira Marley’s recent public appearance comes after the controversy surrounding the death of his former signee, Mohbad.
Videos surfaced showing the late singer being bullied and assaulted by Larry and other members of Marlian Music.
Following Mohbad’s death, Marley and Larry were invited by the police for questioning.
Both maintained their innocence, but the police found them liable for cyberbullying and assault.
After being released on bail, this marks their first public appearance.
