Netflix Secures New Nollywood Deal
American streaming platform, Netflix has secured a new deal in the Nollywood industry with the purchase of popular Nigerian filmmaker, Daniel Oriahi‘s supernatural romantic movie, Sylvia.
The movie which premiered in cinemas in September 2018 after a successful debut at the Nollywood Week Paris in May of the same year, will later this month (July 2020) be joining the increasing list of Nollywood titles coming to Netflix.
Starring Zainab Balogun, Chris Attoh, Ini Dima-Okojie, Udoka Oyeka, amongst other notable actors, the feature film written by Vanessa Kanu, tells a thrilling story of a paranormal relationship between a human and his imaginary love interest.
