New Music: Cobhams Drops ‘We Go Win(Corona)’

Cobhams Asuquo, Nigerian musician/ producer/ song writer has dropped an inspirational song; to spread awareness on the coronavirus pandemic and the importance of safety.

The track was inspired by the coronavirus crisis spreading across the globe.

We Go Win (Corona) is a soothing song delivered on Cobhams‘ piano. Cobhams combines lyrics that encourages us to take all safety precautions seriously and self-isolate. It also assures listeners of victory over the pandemic.

Additionally, several Nigerian musicians have been live streaming performances to provide some entertainment and raise funds for coronavirus-related causes. Especially now that live concerts and festivals worldwide have been canceled due to the outbreak.

Moreover, YouTube recently launched a global campaign with top music artistes; and celebs urging people to stay home amid the coronavirus crisis.

The video platform has been promoting the hashtag #StayHome for the past several weeks with a line up of singers including Timi Dakolo, AsaSimi and Seyi Shay.

The ongoing music festival would afford fans the opportunity of watching several artists perform live on their respective YouTube channels from their homes.

Other celebrities on the roaster include Reekado BanksSkalesBezJeff Akoh and Broda Shagi.

Celebrities around the world have also become victims of the novel coronavirus with the pandemic in its full swing.

Statistic surrounding the deadly virus COVID-19 has continued to increase. Nigeria currently has 135 cases.

Meanwhile, there are a growing number of celebrities who have helped raise public awareness amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Nigerian-French vocalist, Asa and music producer, Don Jazzy took part in the “#Safe Hands Challenge.”
