Nigerian Actress, Anike Alajogun Tests Positive To Coronavirus

London-based Nigerian actress, Alhaja Anike Alajogun has tested positive to the novel coronavirus.

Emerging reports making rounds on the internet have it that the Nollywood veteran actress aka Yeye Oba is now under a compulsory two-week self-isolation period.

According to industry sources, Alajogun got a positive coronavirus diagnosis of the infectious disease. This was shortly after falling ill last week.

Reportedly, the indigenous Nigerian actress who left acting to become a nurse with the NHS in Manchester, United Kingdom (UK); caught the virus while attending to some coronavirus patients in the country.

However, it is no longer news that the coronavirus pandemic is greatly plaguing the whole world; not excluding developed countries.

Since the outbreak of the virus in the Chinese city of Wuhan, in December 2019, over one million cases have been reported.

More than 81,000 persons have died of the virus; no less than 300,000 infected persons have recovered around the world.
