Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo separate from wife of 16 years
Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has announced that he and his wife Bunmi are divorcing after 16 years of marriage.
The actor, better known as Nino B, acknowledged the end of his marriage in a lengthy and emotional Instagram post. He cited irreconcilable differences as the reason.
He described his current stage of life as “sad but necessary.” The post’s comment section was disabled because he requested privacy at this time.
His caption read, “My wife & I have decided to go our separate ways and headed for an irreconcilable marriage dissolution. Please respect our privacy and pray for us during this process as we heal and move on with our independent lives while jointly taking care of what we love most, Our children! God bless all.”
Nino poured his heart out in the lengthy caption, acknowledging the impact their decisions would have on himself and his children.
He also stated that he worked hard to avoid this, but divorce has become the only peaceful resolution.
He said,
“Finally I accept the reality of the End to a Road! A sad reality that gives room & hope for a brighter and more fulfilling future! A reality that is SAD for my loving and adorable children but necessary for a peaceful and loveable future. A sad reality I prayed, nurtured, and worked tirelessly hard never to experience for the sake of all.”
In a heartfelt message, Nino expressed his acceptance of defeat and acknowledged that one’s actions would inevitably catch up with them, be they good or bad.
He also revealed his deep love for the children he shares with his estranged wife, acknowledging that his worst fear has now become a reality.
Nino’s words reflected his surrender to the situation, stating that he hoped God would either reward him for his deserving actions or punish him for his wrongdoings. He emphasized that we all must live with the consequences of our actions.
Nino’s candid admission came after he had previously disclosed in November 2022 that he and his wife were working on rebuilding their marriage after he had been unfaithful multiple times. He acknowledged his infidelity and expressed his determination to salvage their relationship.
As for his estranged wife Bunmi, she has not publicly commented on their separation and has deleted her Instagram account.
