OAP Dan Foster Dies Of COVID-19 Complications

RENOWNED OAP, Dan Foster has been confirmed dead. The radio veteran, according to Daily Independent, died from COVID-19 complications.

In a tweet disclosing the incident, City FM mourned the deceased, affirming that a legend has passed away.

Popularly known as The Big Dawg and Top Dawg, Foster was a Nigerian-based American radio personality.

Prior to his relocation to Nigeria, the deceased worked with numerous radio stations in the United States of America. However, Foster joined Cool FM in 2000, where he spent nine years. He later advanced his media career when he joined Inspiration FM, after which he moved to City FM.

Foster attained fame in Nigeria for his role as one of the judges of Idols West Africa series; alongside Nigerian Dede Mabiaku and Ghanaian Abrewa Nana in 2007. He later became a judge at the music talent reality TV show Nigeria’s Got Talent alongside actress Kate Henshaw and comedian Yibo Koko.

Dan Foster left behind his wife and three children.
