Offset Makes Acting Debut on “NCIS: Los Angeles”
American rapper Offset is making his debut onset in the crime TV series NCIS: Los Angeles. Just like his wife, Cardi B, he is adding actor to his resume.
In a report by TMZ, Offset plays the role of an undercover CIA agent on NCIS: Los Angeles. The show’s stars, Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J, approach him to save a special agent who the “bad guys” are holding hostage.
Also, he announced he will feature the world premiere of his new track, Danger. The song will air on Sunday by 9 P.M.
Speaking on the film debut, Offset said he reached out to LL Cool J about making a cameo on the CBS show. But he wanted to make sure he wasn’t typecast. In his words;
“I never wanted to come into acting and put into this category of ‘You be the bad guy all the time. I wanted to be able to show that I can do anything that someone sets in front of me.”
He continued, “I was studying because I wanted to make sure I fulfilled the whole role. I didn’t want to play, I’m doing all my own stunts.”
His co-star LL Cool J says he is doing awesome, breaking types and he finds that commendable.
Cardi B also featured in Hustlers where she played the role of a stripper alongside the singer, Lizzo. She confessed to being tense while they were filming.
