Oh No! Nicki Minaj Is Retiring From Music!
Fans were not ready for what hit them last night when American rapper, Nicki Minaj, revealed plans to retire from the music industry.
The announcement on social media left fans in a confused state as the “Megatron” rapper aroused hope in the hearts of many when she recently announced the release of a “ready” album following the release of hit song, “Megatron”.
Nicki who stirred the internet with her engagement news few months ago, explained reasons for her retirement. According to her, family comes first as she revealed she is about to start up a family and at such, will be leaving the music industry to focus on a new life.
Urging her fans to stay with her till the end, she quoted a few lines from her outro rap verse in Alicia Keys’ “Girl on Fire” remix.
She wrote: “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, ❌ in the box- cuz ain’t nobody checkin me. ✅ Love you for LIFE ♥️”.
The announcement seemingly came out of nowhere, as Nicki had been very active in the music scene of recent. The news however did not go down well with her fans as they took to the comment section to express their shock.
