Omotola Jalade’s Mother’s Love Hits ₦100 Million, Becomes First Film to Donate 100% Box Office to Charity

Nigerian actress and filmmaker Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has achieved a remarkable milestone with her directorial debut, Mother’s Love, which has officially crossed the ₦100 million mark at the Nigerian box office.

The film’s success, however, goes beyond its financial performance, as it has made history by becoming the first Nollywood production to donate 100 per cent of its earnings to charitable causes.

eelive.ng reported that, every kobo generated from the film’s box office revenue will be channelled into donations, marking a significant moment not only for the Nigerian film industry but also for philanthropy within the entertainment space.
