Oyinkan Braithwaite’s “My Sister, the Serial Killer” shortlisted for 2019 Women’s Prize for Fiction

“My Sister, the Serial Killer” a book by the Nigerian author “Oyinkan Braithwaite” has been shortlisted for 2019 Women’s Prize for Fiction. It is the only debut novel in the category.

Other books that received nominations in the same category are “The Silence of the Girls” by Pat Barker;” Milkman” by Anna Burns (previously shortlisted author for “No Bones”); “Ordinary People” by Diana Evans (winner of Orange Award for New Writers for” 26a”); “An American Marriage” by Tayari Jones; and “Circe” by Madeline Miller ( previous winner of the Orange Prize for Fiction for “The Song of Achilles”)
