Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has been charged with attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration in the United Kingdom.
The charges were confirmed by Snaresbrook Crown Court in London. Court official James Baker confirmed that the case is scheduled for a plea and trial preparation hearing on September 15, 2026.
The court also disclosed that a reporting restriction is in place to protect the anonymity of the complainant, meaning certain details cannot legally be made public.

The development follows days of speculation surrounding reports that Poco Lee had been detained in the UK. Earlier reports confirmed that proceedings involving the entertainer were before the London court, although the specific charges were initially not publicly disclosed.
Poco Lee’s management and legal representatives have appealed to the public to avoid spreading unverified claims about the case. They stated that allegations circulating online about drink spiking do not form part of the charges before the court.
The management stressed that the allegations should not be treated as evidence of guilt.
Poco Lee has not been convicted of any offence, and the case remains before the UK court. The September 15 hearing is expected to mark the next stage in the proceedings.
