Portable lands in Police custody
Nigerian musician, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has been nabbed by the Ogun State police command.
The spokesperson of the command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the arrest of the singer in a chat with Punch.
This comes after the police had issued a 72-hour ultimatum to the singer over his unruly behaviour on its officers.
In July 2022, The Nigeria Police said it would investigate Portable over his claims he founded Million Boys, Ajah Boys cult groups.
The spokesman of the Force, Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi, made this known in a statement on Monday.
This comes after a video surfaced online where Portable claimed he founded the cult groups terrorising Lagos State.
According to the statement, the spokesman said the Inspector General of Police has ordered the commissioner of police in Lagos State to investigate the singer over the indicting statement.
