Rapper Ikechukwu Onunaku is Engaged!
Nigerian rapper and actor, Ikechukwu Onunaku, and his girlfriend are heading for a walk down the aisle.
The rapper announced that he is now engaged on his social media page alongside a video of a sparkling engagement ring with the inscription “she said yes”.
Ikechukwu showed off his long-time partner in September, announcing that he was no longer keeping his relationship a secret.
“Sometimes we want something so bad we keep it under wraps and quiet as possible cos of our industry or people; and they way things get destroyed while out of ur control. But you get to a point u don’t want to focus so hard on protecting cos of the confidence you have in it. That feeling turns to a want of celebration,” he had written on Instagram.
“I’ve kept it as lowkey as possible for fear of what the world could possibly do to scatter us. But i ain’t afraid no more. She holds me down, she makes me smile, she tickles and inspires my brain, she pisses me off; she never likes me pissed off. Vice versa. Make up is always the option. She’s everything and I pray she remains that. Next level. Help me pray for next level cos we no hide again.”
The rapper released his first album Son of the Soil in 2006 which featured the smash hit My Name is Ikechukwu. Son of the Soil was followed by Life and Times of Killz Volume 1.
He has starred in Nollywood movies like The wedding party, The Wedding Party 2: Destination Dubai and Oloture.
