Nigerian reality star Daniel Olatunji, who is better known as Danboskid, has opened up about his financial struggles.
In a video seen by eelive.ng on Thursday, September 3, the Nigerian reality star mentioned that life hasn’t been easy since he appeared in the Big Brother Naija edition in 2025.

The Nigerian reality star stated that he is unable to maintain the standards and perception that people have about him, especially on social media.
He said he does not want pity or financial handouts but would appreciate honest advice and support.
Danboskid also revealed that things were not going well for him personally and that his family was facing challenges too.

He, however, clarified that his family was not starving, adding that he simply wanted to be honest about his reality and focus on making changes in his life.
“I don’t really know what to say, but I know I have so many things in mind. And I know I don’t know what’s going on with me.
“But I know I have to change what’s going on. I know I have to stop being intentional. I know I have to start altering my own reality.
“Because I have to make things work regardless.”
Speaking about his circumstances, Danboskid said his family was not going hungry but acknowledged that they were facing difficulties.
“As I said, we’re not suffering. My dad is a tenant. So yeah, we’re just suffering mentally,” he said.
He also disclosed that he had considered selling his laptop but decided against it, saying he needed it to help him rebuild his career.
The former housemate said he planned to produce a film, establish himself as a top actor, launch an accessories brand and begin driving for Uber.
“I have a script going on. I’m going to produce my movie. I’m going to become a movie producer. And a world-class top actor.
“Yes, that’s it. So that’s the first one. That’s like the bigger picture. But how do we go about it? I honestly do not know.”
