Big Brother Naija reality star Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha and symply_tacha on social media has unleashed a scathing attack on Air Peace after a frustrating flight delay left her stranded for hours and caused her to miss her best friend and fellow reality tv star Cross’s wedding.
In a viral video posted while seated in her car with hair rollers, a visibly angry Tacha declared:
“A very wicked and heartless organization?? @flyairpeace my God will punish you.”
In a more detailed emotional clip, she further explained her ordeal, saying: “If I decided to call Air Peace a scam organization, you people will say I’m doing too much… I booked the flight for 6 AM. I got there by 5 AM. They said this flight is going to be delayed by one hour and it is now 11 AM.”
According to Tacha, passengers were issued boarding passes, giving them false hope, only for the airline to later send an email stating they could not fly due to fuel issues. The prolonged delay reportedly pushed the new departure time to around 3:30 PM.
Air Peace has previously acknowledged fuel-related disruptions and issued general apologies, but is yet to respond specifically to Tacha’s public outburst.
Tacha’s strong reaction has divided netizens. While some passengers shared similar experiences of long waits and inadequate updates, others criticized the reality star for her choice of words and public approach to the grievance.
