Rema sells out O2 Arena ahead of highly anticipated concert

At the age of 23, Rema has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the youngest African artist to sell out the iconic O2 Arena.

This accomplishment places him among the youngest artists ever to headline at the renowned venue.

Rema announced the headline show at the O2 Arena in London in May, and the concert took place on November 14, 2023, in support of his debut studio album, ‘Rave & Roses.’

The album, which features collaborations with artists like 6lack, Chris Brown, AJ Tracey, Yseult, and Selena Gomez, has been a major success.

‘Rave & Roses’ made history by becoming the first African album to surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify.

One of the standout tracks, ‘Calm Down,’ featuring Selena Gomez, achieved global success, reaching No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning platinum certifications in several countries.

Rema’s return to London for the O2 Arena show follows his sensational performances at the O2 Brixton Sold Out Show.

His achievements at such a young age underscore his status as one of the hottest and most successful artists in Africa.
