Hassani feels overlooked

Just recently, Ric Hasanni took to social media to express his displeasure at people overlooking the achievements of alternative singers (him). He says people give accolade to only commercial Nigerian music artistes. He revealed that his shows in the USA pulled more crowd than Rema’s but people didn’t talk about it.

You know, I’m looking at Rema’s shows in America, New York. My show actually had more people at least by four times, but not many people talked about it as much as they talk about this. I think our genre has more work to do to really get that type of attention and regard.”
