Ric Hassani to Release New Album in February

Afropop singer Ric Hassani has announced that he will be releasing his new album The Prince I Became on February 26, 2021. It will be a follow-up to his debut, Perfect Gentleman.

In January 2021, Ric Hassani announced his new album on Twitter. He wrote, “My new album, God did it entirely. How i pulled through to create all this I still don’t know. God truly is my Everything. If all you have is God, know that you have everything.”

Yesterday, he made the announcement again on Twitter; posting the album art and tracklist. Ric Hassani wrote, “I put out my first album four years ago. Since then, so much has happened in my life. These songs, have been my peace, my joy, my anger, my therapy, my calm, my vex, my pain, my comfort, now it’s time for them to be yours. The Prince I Became Album, February 26th, I love you.”

Ric Hassani burst into the Afropop scene with Gentleman in 2015, after trying on different sounds and personas. According to him, he only found success when he stopped making music that he thought other people would like and started making music that he liked.

This has been the recipe for his success; as Hassani has gone on to tour all over the world; selling out stadiums and climbing musical charts.
