The 63-year-old singer, who is popularly known as the “Queen of Waka,” took to her Instagram page to assure her fans, family, and friends that she is alive, healthy, and doing very well.

In a short video she posted, Salawa appeared cheerful as she sang and laughed, while using the opportunity to warn those spreading the false report.
According to her, anybody who is wishing her dead will end up going before her.
She also wrote a message alongside the video. The post read, “My family, friends, and fans home and abroad, thank you so much for your love and concern. I am alive, hail, and hearty. Please disregard all the rumours. Some blogs will do the unthinkable just to trend, and it is rather shameful. The Queen is fine and doing very well. May God bless you all.”
