Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman turned heads at the U.S. premiere of Practical Magic 2 in Los Angeles, proving that a black-and-white palette remains one of fashion’s most reliable statements at any age.

The longtime co-stars, reuniting for the sequel nearly three decades after the 1998 original, chose complementary monochrome looks. Bullock, styled by Leslie Fremar, arrived in a custom floor-length Louis Vuitton velvet gown.

The dress featured padded shoulders, a deep V-neckline, and crisp white collar and cuffs that added sharp contrast against the black fabric.

Beside her, Kidman, working with stylist Jason Bolden, wore a dramatic asymmetrical lace creation by Atelier Versace. Designed by Pieter Mulier and unveiled publicly for the first time, the gown featured a rounded neckline edged in black satin ribbon.

Though the textures differed, the shared monochrome theme created a polished, unified presence. The premiere also marked the arrival of new cast members Maisie Williams and Joey King, who play Bullock’s on-screen daughters.
