See Teaser For Omoni Oboli’s Upcoming Movie, “Love Is War”
Nollywood Actress and Filmmaker, Omoni Oboli, has released the teaser to her forthcoming project, “Love Is War” – a movie based on a party’s first female gubernatorial candidate.
Written by Chinaza Onuzo, “Love Is War” follows the drama surrounding a married couple as they contest against each other in the gubernatorial elections of the same state. The political drama focuses on how ambition, the pursuit of dreams and rivalry play out within a loving and supportive marriage.
Omoni Oboli stars alongside other top-notch actors including Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), Jide Kosoko, Shaffy Bello, Bimbo Manuel, and more in the film.
Speaking about the idea behind the production, Oboli shared; “The issues at play in this movie are very dear to my heart and I can’t wait for the audience to experience my vision.”
With an array of great movies under her belt; “Okafor’s Law”, “Wives on Strike”, “Wings of a Dove”, the actress has a thing for successfully raising topical issues and continuing the conversation with her movies about the freedom of women in the Nigeria society.
“Love Is War” hits cinemas September 27.
