A social media post by X (formerly Twitter influencer) Shola has ignited widespread debate after he shared strong advice directed at young men, referencing the ongoing public discussions surrounding Nigerian singer Davido and influencer Sophia Momodu.
In the viral message posted on X, Shola urged men to be cautious about their sexual decisions and to consider the long-term consequences of unplanned parenthood.
According to Shola, men who are not ready to have children or do not see a future with a partner should take preventive measures and have clear agreements before engaging in intimate relationships. He warned that brief moments of pleasure could lead to lasting emotional and financial stress, adding that many successful men experience prolonged challenges stemming from past relationships.

He wrote:” As a man, one thing to learn from this Davido and Sophia’s case is that you need to be very careful who you go raw with. If you’re going raw with a woman you don’t see a future with, or you know you’re not ready to have a baby yet, make sure you have morning-after pills at home, and she must take it. Every young man should always have this at home.
“Let her know she’d have to take it even before having anything with her. Only go raw after she’s agreed. That 15 minute pleasure can give you a really stressed life tomorrow, a lot of successful men have everything in this world but still have no peace and go through long lasting pain just because of the woman they once shared the bed with. Don’t let the ephemeral pleasure ruin your life.”
