Silverbird Group’s Ben Bruce mourns mum’s death

The Chairman Silverbird Group, Ben Murray Bruce has announced the passing away of his aged mum, Margaret Murray-Bruce.

The 65-year-old showbiz mogul announced the death of his mother in an emotional-laden eulogy.

The politician said his aged mum passed away at about 4:40AM on Tuesday morning, February 1, 2022.

“Life. Indeed, like sand in the wind, today it’s here, tomorrow it’s gone. My mum is gone. She died at 4:40am this morning. My gem of inestimable value, my support system, my best friend, my everything—she’s gone,” he wrote.

He went further to say that he’s consoled that he gave her everything that money could buy as well as affection, love and care which money cannot buy during her lifetime.

“My consolation is that in her lifetime, I gave her not just everything that money could buy, but most importantly, I gave her my presence, my time, my everything. On uncountable occasions, I will go to her house to hug her and play with her for no reason but love, the kind that only sons share with their mums.”

The Bayelsan businessman admitted that the passing away of his mum hurts badly saying, ‘I love you, mum, and I miss you. This one hurts so bad. Forever yours.”
