Nigerian singer, Simi and her husband, Adekunle Gold have welcomed their second child together.
Simi took to Instagram on Wednesday, April 1st, to share the news, revealing that she gave birth on the 10th of last month.
The singer also subtly dismissed earlier viral rumours that she had given birth to twins, simply describing herself as a “mommy of two”.
Sharing beautiful photos from her maternal shoot, she captioned the post, “+1. 3.10.26. God bless my little family #mommyof2.”

Meanwhile, the couple had recently celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary on social media. Adekunle shared throwback photos, as he reflected on their journey together.
In the post, he wrote: “Seven years ago, I married my best friend. And somehow, every year since then has been gentler than the last. We’ve laughed hard, grown deeply, prayed sincerely, and chosen each other again and again.
“And through it all, loving you has been the easiest, most beautiful decision of my life. Seven years in and my heart still knows where it belongs. I love you Simi.”

Adekunle Gold and Simi married in January 2019 following several years of friendship and musical collaboration. Their first child, Adejare Kosoko, was born in May 2020.
