Simi Unveils Album Art for ‘Omo Charlie Champagne’ Vol. 1

During the week, popular Nigerian singer, Simi shared the album art of her forthcoming album to her fans on her Instagram page. This is to be her third studio album, aptly titled ‘Omo Charlie Champagne’ Volume 1.

The post reads – “Guys, Is it doing you like you should preorder something incredible? Look at her cute little cheeks. Don’t tell her no. 👼🏾 #OmoCharlieChampagne 🎈” .

The X3M Music signed artist released her eponymous sophomore album, ‘Simisola’ in 2017, which enjoyed mainstream success, becoming the first album to hit the 1M mark on streaming platform, Boomplay.

Simi had earlier in the year announced that she would be releasing her album on her birthday, April 19th. The album will have the likes of Falz,  Adekunle Gold, Patoranking and Maleek Berry as collaborators.

Simi started off as a gospel singer and released her first album in 2008 titled ‘Ogaju’. Her career took a turn for the better in 2014, with the release of the single ‘Tiff’ which was nominated in the 2015 Headies and further brought her to the mainstream.
