Singer Oxlade Says his Manager Sustained Brain Injuries from Police Brutality
Popular singer, Ikuforiji Abdulrahman Olaitan otherwise known as Oxlade, on Thursday, October 14, disclosed that his manager, Ojabode Ademola sustained serious brain injuries from police brutality.
Oxlade said Ademola sustained the injuries from operatives of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), while he joined #EndSARS agitators in the Surulere area of Lagos State, to protest against unruly behaviour by policemen in the country.
Sharing a picture of the result from the scan carried out on his manager, Oxlade wrote: “My brother has a swelling in his brain and he can’t control his fingers, thanks to the Nigerian Police. Thank you Nigerian government for failing the youth. I am lost for words right now, but please keep my brother In your prayers.”
Oxlade shared this post days after his manager was arrested during the #EndSars protest in Surulere.
Recall that on Sunday, October 11, 2020, Oxlade raised an alarm via his social media about the arrest of Ademola.
Ademola was however later released alongside other protesters following immense pressure by Nigerians on social media on the government.
