Small Doctor to Shutdown Lagos with ‘Omo Better Concert 2’ in December

Small Doctor is coming to put Lagos Mainland to a standstill this December. Tagged Omo Better Concert 2, the singer will be holding the 2019 edition of his concert on December 15 at the Agege Township Stadium. Last year’s edition recorded over 20,000 fans and music lovers at the Agege stadium who gave Small Doctor a resounding welcome.

Ahead of another sold out concert, Small Doctor assures his fan that as the street king, nobody has taken over from him.

All these boys are doing well for themselves and they’ve worked hard to get themselves to this point. Nobody has taken over from nobody. For small Doctor to still be at this point, it obviously means I am relentlessly focused and the sky is big for many stars to shine. If I have a sound I feel they are a perfect match for it, there is nothing that stops me from working with them.”

The Omo Better crooner promises that this year’s edition will be more than singing and dancing, there will be motivational talks, quiz for students and an empowerment programme for single mothers.

There will be performances from music artistes, comedians and DJs like Reminisce, Mr Eazi, Zlatan, Reekado Banks, DJ Lambo, DJ Kaywise and many more.

With entrance fee pegged at #500, Small Doctor confirmed via his Instagram that the first 2,000 attendees to the show will get free food, courtesy of Kokun Foundation. With many hit songs to his credit, he also goes by the moniker, ‘Omo Iya Teacher‘ and ‘Omo Better‘.

The very fist time I announced my concert on stage, my whole team got shocked. The idea was first conceptualized all by myself in the Green room. I picked a date, and my own venue,” he recalled.
