Tacha complains As Dubai Sends Nigerians Home
Reality TV star, Tacha Akide, simply known as Tacha has complained that Dubai is not allowing Nigerians into the country and is sending them back home, even with valid visas.
The former Big Brother Naija housemate tweeted, “Dubai is really sending Nigerians back to Nigeria
even with their valid visas!!! And ‘ontop’ of that when you reach Nigeria!! You’ll be paying an additional fee of N31,000 for whatever reason I don’t even know!”
She shared this just a few hour after she had posted a video of herself in the city with the caption “Dubai! I’m in your CITY.”
After this, she shared in a separate tweet, “I can’t even believe after spending those long hours in transit. After paying and getting your visa. Buying ticket too. Making Dubai plans and you will just be sent back like that!!! Gosh!The humiliation Nigerians face outside Nigeria ehn!! It is just dispiriting.”
Tacha’s lamentations is following a Twitter user’s post about the fact that some Nigerians arriving Dubai had been detained and their passports seized as well. According to the tweet, there was no official explanation given for the situation.
