Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has shared a deeply personal revelation regarding the motivations behind her illustrious acting career. In a candid reflection on her rise to stardom, the screen icon disclosed that her journey into the world of film was born out of a desperate desire to reconnect with her children.

Wright went on to reveal that her children were taken away from her during their formative years following her marriage into an affluent family.

According to the actress, her former in-laws harboured significant doubts about her potential, believing she would never amount to anything of substance in life. This familial rejection and the subsequent separation from her children became the catalyst for her public-facing career.
