Former P-Square manager Jude Okoye has strongly denied allegations by his younger brother, Peter Okoye (Mr P), that he diverted more than $1.2 million in music royalties.
In a video released on Sunday, he insisted the claims have already been examined by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and are currently before the court.
Jude accused Mr P of trying to influence public opinion while avoiding court appearances. “You are trying to bait me. You know the court is not going to your favour. Why are you dodging to make appearance in court? For three good sittings now, you dey dodge court,” he said.

Responding to the claim that he and Paul Okoye (Rudeboy) diverted a $25,000 royalty payment, Jude explained that the transfer followed Mr P’s own instructions in 2016.

The twins’ elder brother referenced records from digital distributor IROKO showing that Peter requested his share be paid directly into his personal account, while the balance belonging to Jude and Paul went into the Northside Entertainment account.
“Peter’s money was sent to him directly… Peter knows this. This has been trashed by the EFCC. We are still in court. How do you explain this?” Jude stated.
He also rejected claims that Peter was removed as a signatory to the group’s bank accounts, displayed official bank documents, and insisted all royalty payments were properly documented and shared according to existing agreements. Jude further noted that Peter had been receiving dollar royalties since 2012.
