Timaya celebrates fourth child’s birthday in the US
Timaya took to Instagram to celebrate his fourth child’s birthday with Dunnie Onasanya.
On Monday, May 17, 2021, the reggae dancehall king posted pictures from the birthday celebration of his 4th daughter on his Instagram account.
The birthday celebration, which took place in the America, was attended by the music star’s close friends and family.
Timaya is said to have three children from two other women before now. This made his announcement of a fourth child with Dunnie ‘O’ came as a huge surprise to fans. The pair announced the birth of their child last year.
Timaya’s third baby mama isn’t well-known to the general public, but she is known by many in the creative industry. Dunnie Onasanya is a Nigerian American visual artist and muralist.
At the 2018 AfroChic Cultural Arts Festival in Toronto, Canada, Onasanya was the featured international visual artist. She most recently performed a live painting demonstration of cultural masks in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the Umu Igbo Unite Nigerian Cultural Conference.
Who is Timaya’s third baby mama?
Onasanya was previously married to video director Ibrahim Hassan. In 2011. Hassan proposed in 2014, just prior to their wedding in Beverly Hills, California in 2015. Onasanya also has a 5-year-old daughter with her ex-husband.
Unfortunately, the marriage didn’t last very long as the pair split not long after their wedding.
The artist has spoken out about her experience with domestic abuse. It’s tempting to connect her domestic violence history to a previous marriage, but she’s never verified it.
“The thing is, domestic violence is not a respecter of persons. It can happen to anybody at any level, at any class and at any situation in life. It takes a lot of courage to be able to move on from a situation like that, believing you want better for yourself, and if you have children, for your children.
A lot of people don’t make it out, you know what I’m saying? So, I’m grateful that I’ve had this new start on life to be able to do what I love, and to be able to share and be honest about it,’ Onasanya shared in an interview.
Timaya has also been accused of domestic violence in the past by ex-wife, Nollywood actress, Empress Njamah.
