Toke Makinwa speaks on Oxlade sex tape

Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa has stated her opinion on the trending video allegedly involving musician, Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, popularly known as Oxlade.

Although, there were some comments criticising Oxlade for not addressing the sex tape, the 24 year old musician was hailed by some fans for the sexual prowess he displayed in the video.

While on air at the Rhythm FM, Makinwa was asked what she thinks about the video. The actress said the comments from the leaked video shows that human beings were hypocritical.

She said, “ People have double standards because when it’s a man, people are like ‘what do you feel about it?’ But when it’s a woman, they want to crucify her. People need to stop being hypocritical. When it’s one gender, they hail them and ask to be taught the way. However with the female gender, it’s something else.” (sic)

In October 2021, Tiwa Savage’s sex tape was leaked. At the time, the 42 year old star was the subject of outrage. Some called her out for not being a good role model to the younger generation.

Many have taken to comparing the two video leaks and the disparity of reactions from members of the public.
