Toyin Abraham wants to start a family reality TV show
Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham has announced plans to produce a reality TV show set to document her life and family.
Abraham recently shared a tweet asking for fans’ thoughts on the best medium to watch the reality show. “Hey fam! I’ve been thinking about starting a reality TV show with my family,” Abraham tweeted. “So if you could choose, what channel would you prefer to watch it on?” the actress asked her fans.
Recently, the star actress has enjoyed box-office success with productions like Niyi Akinmolayan’s Prophetess and Fate of Alakada; which reportedly grossed over 100 million despite the COVID-19 pandemic. Right before Valentine’s day, Netflix acquired Fate of Alakada and it was one of the most-watched movies for two weeks.
Apart from BBNaija, few reality TV shows have really taken off in Nigeria. Even Mercy & Ike, the spin-off show about two former Big Brother faded into oblivion after some weeks. However, if Toyin Abraham believes the unscripted antics of her family are worth viewing; we’ll be the judge of that in due time.
Last year, Toyin and her husband Kola Ajeyemi recently welcomed a son Ire, making her a mother of two.
