A coroner in the United Kingdom has ruled that 27-year-old Nigerian mother, Beatrice Solomon, died by suicide after battling mental health challenges for an extended period.
Solomon who lived in Stoke-on-Trent and worked as a carer, was found unresponsive in her home on 4 March 2026.
Emergency responders were called to the scene, but she was sadly pronounced dead shortly after their arrival.
During an inquest into her death, the court heard that she had struggled with her mental wellbeing in the months leading up to the incident.
Her husband revealed that she had been dealing with personal difficulties and pressures that had taken a significant toll on her.

Investigators found no evidence of foul play, and the coroner later concluded that her death was the result of suicide, noting that there were indications her actions had been planned beforehand.
Originally from Nigeria, Beatrice relocated to the UK in late 2023 in search of better opportunities for herself and her family.
Her passing has left her loved ones, friends and members of her community grieving the loss of a young mother whose life ended too soon.
She is survived by her young son and her siblings.
