Trey Songz facing fresh $20 million rape lawsuit

American musician, Tremaine Aldon Neverson, known professionally as Trey Songz, is facing a $20 million lawsuit from a woman who claims he sexually assaulted her.

According to the suit, Jane Doe says she had a consensual sexual relationship with the R&B singer before he suddenly turned into a “savage rapist.”

Doe further claims that Trey invited her to a house party in L.A. on March 24, 2016, when he took her upstairs for what she believed would be consensual sex. However, things changed when the 37 year old allegedly asked her if he could “get that ass” on the way upstairs. She repeatedly told him “no” and to stop asking. That’s when the woman claims Trey threw her to the ground, ripped off her pants, pinned her down, and forced his penis into her anus without consent.

The suit reveals she screamed in pain and tries fighting him off. She says she was overpowered. She hoped the “brutal rape” might end when someone entered the room. However, she says the person quickly left and Trey allegedly continued raping her.

After the alleged assault, she grabbed her clothes and ran outside to call an Uber. The Uber driver noticed she was in distress and took her to a hospital.

At the hospital, she claims a sexual assault exam was performed and the police were called.

The woman says the exam showed she had “severe anal tearing that could require surgery.”

She didn’t name Trey to police because she was “in shock and fearing for her life.”

Doe is currently seeking $20 million in damages from the actor.

Doe’s attorney, Ariel Mitchell, represents two other women who are suing Songz. The suit is also for alleged sexual assaults in Miami and New York.

The artiste has continuously denied the allegations. A rep for Songz stated,

“The allegations in this complaint are false. Trey looks forward to airing the facts. Earlier today, the attorney who drafted this suit was credibly accused of trying to pay a woman to falsely accuse Trey. Hours later, that same attorney has filed this suit on behalf of an anonymous client. It isn’t hard to see what’s happening here, and it is a shame for genuine victims of sexual assault.” (sic)
