Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Official Shoday, has reflected on his journey to international recognition after headlining his own show in London, just two years after visiting the city as a supporting act.
Taking to his X handle, Shoday recounted how he travelled to London for the first time to support fellow Nigerian artiste, Bella Shmurda, and at that moment, he made a quiet promise to himself that he would one day return to host his own concert in the British capital.

According to Shoday, the dream materialised far sooner than he had anticipated.
“Two years ago, I was in London for the first time to support @bella_shmurda and I said to myself one day I will have my own show in London too. I never knew it would be this fast. Thank you London for an amazing night. See you some other time,” he wrote.
However, Shoday’s London performance marks a significant milestone in his career, signalling his expanding global footprint and growing fan base beyond Nigeria.
