Nollywood actor Yomi Gold has opened up about a painful business loss, admitting that some of the money he lost may never be recovered.
Despite the setback, the actor said he has chosen to accept what happened and focus on the lessons the experience has taught him.
In a message shared on Instagram, the actor explained that the losses have not broken his spirit.
According to him, every setback has given him valuable lessons, and he believes the knowledge gained is more important than what he lost financially.
Yomi wrote: “Early losses in business can’t hold me down. Some losses can never be recovered, and I’ve accepted that. Every setback has taught me valuable lessons, and those lessons are worth more than what was lost.”

The actor added that he refuses to allow his past experiences to determine his future. Instead, he is moving forward with more wisdom, determination, and faith, believing that better opportunities lie ahead.
He concluded: “I refuse to let the past define my future. I’m moving forward with greater wisdom, stronger determination, and unwavering faith in what lies ahead. The chapter of loss is closed. The chapter of growth, resilience, and new opportunities has begun.”

In the viral clip, the actor was seen advertising goats for sale, surprising many Nigerians who knew him primarily for his acting career.
