Veteran Nollywood actor, Chinwetalu Agu, has taken to social media to warn jobless men who are unable to control themselves amongst women, of the implications of having a baby amid the growing economic hardship.
According to the 70-year-old, any man without a proper job who welcomes a baby will cry more than the baby. He also cited the rising cost of goods and living expenses.
In his words: “Pampers prices are increasing, school fees are rising, and even the cost of commodities keeps going up, yet you have nothing, and you’re still getting a woman pregnant, you will definitely cry more than that baby.”
Meanwhile, Agu recently advised young people to make the most of their youth, warning that old age brings significant challenges.
In a recent statement, Agu urged the younger generation to embrace life fully while they still have the strength and opportunity to do so. Agu went on to emphasise that time moves swiftly and waits for no one.
“Enjoy yourself now that you are young. Old age is full of challenges. Time waits for no one. Live your life to the fullest, while you have the opportunity,” he said.
Agu, who has enjoyed a long-standing career in Nollywood, is widely respected for both his talent and his candid perspectives on life.
