Victoria Inyama Narrates Bitter Experience With Ex-husband

VETERAN actress, Victoria Inyama has narrated the bitter experience she had with her ex-husband, Ben Okri.

Sharing her ordeal during an Instagram live chat with Malin Anderson, a UK-based mental health advocate, the Nollywood star said she saw the worse of him at the peak of their messy divorce.

Inyama who broke into tears while the chat was ongoing, said Okri wasn’t only mean to her.

According to her, he fed her son with the food he was allergic to. She added that he went as far as dislocating the arms of her daughter, and issuing for her arrest in the presence of their kids.

Her words; “He would bring his girlfriends to my house to drop off the kids and one day I said can we just go for a divorce and he said you can’t divorce me, I owe you, you are my property, divorce me? I said you’ve moved on, you are living with another woman in your house, he said ‘so? you are not in my house anymore, there has to be a woman in my house’ and I requested a divorce.

“He went on to say ‘first of all you cant divorce me and second of all, which man is going to want a woman with three kids? Oh, you think its because you’ve gone to the university that you think you are now intelligent? You are not intelligent.”

Recall that Inyama on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, made a shocking Facebook post, where she called out her ex-husband for abusing her in their marriage.

After sharing three children with each other, the duo later went their separate ways.

As you may have known, Inyama was not the first celebrity to experience marital failure. Quite a number of celebrities have called off their marriages due to unreconcilable differences.
