Waje Reveals Why She Once Rejected A N25m Deal

AFRO-soul star, Aituaje Iruobe popularly known as Waje, has revealed why she had to turn down a deal of N25 million from an investor.

During an Instagram live session with Ubi Franklin, the CEO of Made Men Music Group (MMMG), the music star who had last year (2019), disclosed that she was quitting music because of lack of funds, said turning a N25 million investment offer to push her career wasn’t a difficult decision for her.

According to her, an investor had approached her that he wanted to make an investment of N25 million into her music when she wanted to shoot her I Wish music video, but the offer didn’t come well.

Revealing why she turned down the offer, Waje explained that the investor started making demands that were not professional and she couldn’t cope with that.

Although, Waje didn’t disclose the exact unprofessional demands the investor was making. But her revelation has stirred up controversy among social media users.
