Watch Camila Cabello as ‘Cinderella’ in new magical trailer

Camila Cabello, an American singer and songwriter is Cinderella in the first official trailer for this retelling of the classic fairytale.

“This is it… dresses by Ella,” she says in the opening line of the Cinderella trailer.

The singer plays Cinderella, an ambitious young lady who hopes to become a successful businesswoman someday. Amazon’s forthcoming modern musical, offers a bold take on the centuries-old fairy tale that Disney turned into a popular animated musical film in 1950.

This retelling of the classic tale is much unlike the famous story of Cinderella we know and love. This princess isn’t searching for her Prince Charming, she has dreams of building her own fashion empire.

In this version of the story, Ella (or Cinderella) is no damsel in distress. Instead she is a woman with big dreams, dreams of being a seamstress and one day launch her own fashion line.
