This is the movie that exposed many of us to the fun side of Whoopi Goldberg, after her intense performance in “Sarafina”.
“Sister Act” is a 1992 American musical comedy about a lounge singer (Whoopi Goldberg) that is forced to join a convent after being placed in a witness protection program.
If you remember any part of the movie, then you are in for a treat as Whoopi alongside surviving casts of the movie came together to perform the final song of the movie’s first installment – “I Will Follow Him”.
Although slightly rough around the edges, this reunion will cause you to reach for your “Sister Act 1 & 2” DVD.
