Nigerian actress Nancy Isime has sparked widespread discussion after revealing her strict approach to privacy in romantic relationships. On the ‘Thank For Coming ‘ podcast, the Blood Sisters star declared that money is completely off-limits with any partner.
“I never discuss three things: my money, my money, my money. Tell a man how much I earn, never, for what,” Isime said.
She added that she also doesn’t want to know how much her partner earns. “And I don’t want him to discuss his with me either. I don’t want to know how much he is earning.”
The 34-year-old actress emphasised the importance of boundaries and privacy. On phone access, she stated she has no problem if her partner goes through her phone, but she would never ask to check his. “I have no problem with him going through my phone but for what. I would never ask to check my man’s phone.”

Isime has long prioritised self-reliance. In 2024, she revealed she never daydreamed about marriage as a young girl. Instead, she focused on “working and making my own money and being independent.” She noted that even if she marries, the wedding would simply be whatever she and her partner agree on — big or small.
However, in a January interview, the actress expressed readiness for marriage, saying she is now “of age” and desires a kind man.
